Emotion based marks - Art

We've been working on our wood cuts for art, and trying to base them on emotions. These are marks that correspond with certain emotions. From left to right, intensity, anxiety, ecstatic, then the bottom row, anger, peaceful, overwhelmed.

Slam Poetry

Slam poetry is a very passionate, emotional and often personal type of poetry. It can be humorous and light hearted, but  can also be about much darker topics such as mental health, and social and political issues. Often people are telling stories about times in their lives that changed something about themselves, and rather than using traditional poetry techniques its more like a speech.

Year 10 Performing Arts Evaluation

Who was in your group? Haylee, Bella, Ruth, Shar, Tim, Tyler, Kingston, Shawn and Scarlett

What scene did you present? High school musical, Breaking free and We are all in this together.

Were you happy with it? I wasn't happy with my part because I feel like we didn't work together well or practice.

What would you change if you did it again? I would have practiced with Shar and Shawn so we could get the instruments sounding good, tune the instruments, and organised something for everyone else to do.
