On one of my earlier post I posted my picture with letter, made up with charcole and paint. I feel that I am very close to completing it, and I'm very proud of it. One thing I would change if I could would be to spend more time getting the letters perfect, especially the S. One thing i'm very happy about is the building up of paint, charcole and pastel.
Towards the end I added some flowers behind the girls head, right now I'm planning on adding a bit more charcole to them, to dim them down a bit, and match the rest of the colour pallet. I also think that maybe I could add a few more flowers around the place, just to add something else.

Scarlett this is looking good, and you are documenting your work well. Is there a reason you used the imagery you have? some of it is because you were given selected resources to work with, but not all of it. it would be nice to know :-)
ReplyDeleteNot really, I kind of just went with what I thought would look best.The flowers around the face were used generally to fill in space, as was the random brush strokes around the place.
