Overcoming challenges - English

I sit at my desk, staring blankly at the smooth wood surface. I replay the question over and over in my head, searching my memories trying to remember something. What challenge have I overcome, worthy of writing about? It's not often I step outside my safety bubble, and when I do I run back to it like a small child running back to it's parent after school. A pit forms in my stomach. Am I really that boring that I have nothing to write about? Do I seriously lack that much experience that I can't think of one little challenge I've over come, in fourteen years have I done anything? I run my fingers over the surface in front of me, hoping that if I concentrate enough something will come to me. This thinking process might be in itself the biggest challenge I've over come. That's when I got my million dollar idea. I grabbed my purple computer out of my grey school bag, and start writing.

  2. I really love this I think that you have used an outstanding vocabulary and the way that your words flow together is very good. This piece of writing has a real poetic vibe to it which is cool.

  3. This is very good, as you have used many descriptive features to make writing about nothing very interesting. The features "million dollar idea", and "like a small child running back to it's parent after school" are very good. I can connect to this because sometimes I feel like I haven't done a lot that challenges me either.
